How many times do you hear the saying "wow how time flies". Apparently I've been blogging for a whole year. Who would've thought. This blog was a place where I could record my explorations in making creative products and its allowed me to play and experiment.One year on and I'm pleased to announce that Emiti is about to head in an all new direction. One that has been building over the last year with little hints, thoughts and ideas and sudden bursts of change.
I started as a crafter with a wish to make handmade products to sell at markets. Gradually my tastes and views have shifted as I was exposed to more and more amazing creative "stuff" that is out there.
I now find myself interested and passionate about the design world. About making high quality, well designed environmentally friendly products that people are proud to own.
I've moved from a hobby craft business to a full time, trend orientated design business. I've found my particular creative talents suit this type of business. In short Emiti has been undergoing a massive overhaul in the last 4 months and very soon you're going to be able to see the results.
We have 4 products launching to start with that feature gorgeous hand screenprinted illustrations on organic fabrics in an assortment of colours. Without giving too much away at this stage they will feature both fashion and homewares accessories. Our aim is to provide you with products that are beautiful, unique, high quality, locally made and environmentally friendly. They will be interesting, feminine and designed to appeal to the inner arty type in everyone. Our website will be launching next month so stay tuned and all will be revealed!
