I surprised myself this week by buying carnations. I NEVER buy carnations. Something about them has always cried cheap and tacky to me. But I was really taken by these red and white ones and I just love how they contrast with the bright lime green molucca balm. Molucca balm (also known as irish bells) is a big favourite of mine - it makes anything look good. They remind me of some sort of alien bell tower. And they can last for over 2 weeks. Then for bulk and just cause they're pretty I added a bunch of pink dahlias.
